Product Overview
Secures nominal sized post to wood surfaces offering some lateral and uplift resistance. May be used only for intermediate posts between fully anchored corner/end posts in rail system. Not Recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fixed or fastened at top) applications. Not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads. Requires 16d HDG fasteners for post and 16d HDG fasteners for base. Meets ICBO 2039 and L.A. City RR23888 codes.
