Toolbox Supply is committed to making toolboxsupply.com usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technologies. We want every customer to be able to browse, compare products, and order from us independently.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Our storefront has been reviewed against these guidelines and updated to address the issues identified, across both desktop and mobile screen sizes.
What we’ve done
- Reviewed the structure of our pages so that assistive technology can navigate them
- Improved the labelling of navigation and other controls for screen readers
- Improved keyboard access across the site
- Worked to meet WCAG AA guidance on colour contrast
- Reviewed touch-target sizes for use on smaller screens
- Made automated accessibility checks part of our development process
Known limitations
Checkout and customer accounts are hosted by Shopify and follow Shopify’s accessibility practices. Some content on our pages is provided by outside services; we monitor these and raise issues with the providers when we find them.
Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. If you find something we have missed, please tell us.
