Norton Farm Tool Sharpener for sharpening scythes, sickles and mowing machines. Made by skilled craftsmen using abrasive materials. Specially shaped to fit conveniently in the palm of a hand for the circular motion needed to sharpen and hone axes, hatchets, splitting mauls and machetes. To sharpen blades, stroke from stone heel to toe. Produces the finest edges on scythe blades, sickles, brush hooks, pitch forks, shovels, larger shears and cutters. Lubricate with honing oil for best results. Measures 10" x 1-1/4" x 3/4", with rounded edges.
