BrassCraft PS1087 Seal'n Check Kit with Leak Test Solution

Pipe thread sealant is used to seal male to female pipe threads. The leak detection solution is applied (poured) on the joints of a gas installation to detect unsafe seals in the component-to-component connections (shut-off valve to adapter to gas connector, and gas connector to adapter to appliance regulator). Bubbles in the solution will indicate a leak. The pipe thread sealant is preferred over gas PTFE tape because of its fluidity - it seals up the crevices of the Male to Female thread engagement and provides a better seal. The leak detection solution does not contain soap or detergents, eliminating a false reading.
