- Do not attempt to open the stick. Toss the unopened stick onto a brisk hot burning fire. Use two cleaning sticks per week for one month then one per week.
- Powder
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons (30 ml) onto a brisk hot burning fire twice weekly for 4 weeks. Use 1 tablespoon (15 ml) twice a week thereafter. Larger systems may require additional treatments.
- WARNING
- Prior to starting any chemical / mineral treatment, the chimney should be inspected and cleaned if required by a certified professional. The use of chemical / mineral cleaners can be of benefit in a total maintenance program but are not intended as a replacement for regular inspections by a certified professional.
