Olson Saw 82164 Variable Pitch Bi-Metal Band Saw Blade, 1/2" x 64-1/2"
Description
Bi-Metal Matrix II blades have a high speed matrix cutting edge, electron beam welded to a low alloy shock resistant back. Variable Pitch regular teeth reduce noise and vibration and assure faster cutting rates. Durable Matrix II Bi-Metal teeth resist heat in excess of 1000º F.
Use Bi-Metal Matrix II blades for horizontal gravity fed metal cutting band saws. These blades will cut a wide range of hard materials in production cut-off operations using heavy duty horizontal band saws. Narrow widths are for use on vertical band saws to cut radii in hard-to-machine die steels and for contour cutting and re-sawing exotic woods. Cuts solids, structurals and pipe (interrupted cutting).
Bi-Metal Matrix II blades provide faster cutting rates, increased longevity (Up to 10 times longer life than carbon flex back and hard back). Excellent toughness, shock and abrasion resistance.
