Black Jack 6150-9-30 Roll Roofing Adhesive, 4.75 Gallon

This Roll Roofing Adhesive is a liquid applied, brushable, asphalt based adhesive, designed to bond sheets roll roofing and also adds additional waterproofing protection to the roof surface. No Heating Needed.

Preparation:

• Surfaces must be clean, free of surface rust and loose material. Apply in exterior applications only. Wear protective clothing. Don't apply to wet or damp surfaces. Don't apply to plastic, EPDM, Hypalon or similar type of synthetic rubber roof system. If there is a question on compatibility, test a small section first before application to entire surface area.

Application:

• Use brush to spread across surface of roof and roll the rolls of roofing material into wet adhesive. Apply on a clear warm day with no rain forecasted for 24-36 hours. Mixing may be required to ensure product uniformity. Do not apply direct heat/flames or thin. Apply when surface temperatures are between 50° and 120° F. In colder weather (50°F and below), product should be stored in heated room (70° to 80° F.) at least 24 hours prior to application to promote ease of application. Product formulated to be used year round.

Coverage rate:

• Covers approx. 40 - 45 sq. ft. per gallon.

Precautions:

• Protective clothing and eyewear should be used during application of these products. When transporting this product, ensure that lid is tight and pail secure and upright. Do not allow pail to tumble as this may cause lid to loosen and leakage to occur. Do not transport on passenger seats or inside the passenger compartment of any vehicle. Store product in the cargo area of vehicle, and secure over protective cloths to prevent damage due to accidental spills. Do not store at temperatures above 100°F. Do not reuse empty containers. Do not use in drinking water or food systems.

Clean-up:

• Clean tools or spills with mineral spirits or paint thinner.
