Homewerks® 220-2-12 Lead-Free Brass Stop & Waste Valve with Drain, 1/2" FIP

Homewerks® Lead Free Forged Brass Stop & Waste Valve with Drain is suitable for potable water service. The valve body is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel. This valve has a cast iron hand wheel for manual On/Off control. It has female (FIP) threads on both ends for connecting to male threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. The maximum pressure rating is 125 pounds per square inch (psi) for water, oil, and gas (WOG). This valve meets standard National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) 61-8. Included drain cap that allows draining or non-pressure side of valve when valve is closed.
