Description
The SharkBite® PEX Barb Threaded Male Adapter is made of a lead-free DZR brass, and is an easy-to-install, low-cost solution to connect to PEX tubing. These fittings allow you to connect with either a stainless steel clamp system, or a copper crimp ring system (each sold separately) and is MNPT threaded on the other side. The SharkBite® PEX Barb fittings are compatible for potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications.
- 1/2" x 1/2" MNPT
- Made of a lead-free DZR brass
- Easy-to-install
- For connecting 1/2" cross link polyethylene pex tubing to 1/2" female iron pipe thread pipe end or fitting
- Secure barb end of fitting to pex pipe with #UC953A cinch clamps & #23081 cinch tool, or copper crimp rings & crimp tool
- Immediately testable to well over 100 PSI
- Allow you to connect with either a stainless steel clamp system, or a copper crimp ring system (each sold separately)
- Compatible for potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications.
