How to Apply:

• When plants are dry, sprinkle this product on soil surface, and immediately water to activate. It forms a weed control barrier in the top layer of soil, preventing weed seeds from germinating. Disturbance to the soil surface after activation may result in erratic weed control.

When to Apply:

• Apply Preen Garden Weed Preventer Plus Plant Food anytime in the spring, summer, or fall around established plants and transplants. It should not be used on flower seeds. In can be used after flowering plants have germinated and are 2-3 inches tall. Since it does not kill existing weeds, you must first remove any that have already begun to grow.
• Rain does not wash this product out of the soil. For optimum weed control and plant feeding, reapply this product every 3 months.
