Permatex 80073 Belt Dressing & Conditioner, 12 Oz

Permatex Belt Dressing is a specially formulated, high quality belt dressing that is designed to eliminate squeaks, aid in power transfer and increase belt life. The product penetrates the cord fibers to restore pliability and flexibility. Prevents belt slippage due to heat, cold, dampness, dust and glazing.

Note: Not recommended for use on serpentine belts

Directions For Use:

• Provide adequate ventilation.
• Shake can thoroughly before use. Note: There is no ball agitator inside the can. For best results, aerosol can should be at room temperature before spraying.
• Attach extension tube
• While engine is running, spray lightly on inner working surface of belt near smallest or uppermost pulley. Allow belt to run for several minutes to condition and cure dressing. Reapply as needed. Note: Do not come in contact with moving parts.
• Do not apply in excess, a uniform, thin coat is sufficient. If the liquid runs off, it indicates an over-application the belt should be replaced due to excessive wear and deterioration.

For Cleanup:

• Turn can upside-down and spray to clear nozzle.
• Clean hands with Permatex® brand hand cleaners.

General Information:

• This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected for use with chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.

Storage:

• Products shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry location in unopened containers at a temperature between 8 to 28 degree Celsius (46 to 82 degree Fahrenheit) unless otherwise labeled. Optimal storage is at the lower half of this temperature range.
