OSI® 1498717 Pro-Series F38 Drywall Panel Adhesive, 28 Oz, Latex, Tan

OSI® F38 Drywall and Panel Adhesive is a professional grade, latex-based construction adhesive designed for drywall and other panel applications. This non-flammable, low gassing adhesive can be used for all interior and in-plant construction use. This ultra-low VOC product offers fast strength development and high shear strength, making it well suited for a variety of construction projects requiring high bond strength.

Recommended For:

• OSI® F38 is best suited for bonding gypsum board to wood or metal studs, laminating gypsum board to gypsum board and bonding gypsum board to concrete or block walls. It is widely used in new construction of single-family and multi-family homes, manufactured housing, commercial construction and all remodeling, remedial and renovation projects where drywall or gypsum products are installed. OSI® F38 is designed to make installations quick, easy and less costly. When applied as directed, the adhesive combined with the approved mechanical fasteners is the preferred method for permanent, safe installations. It bonds to drywall, paneling, all types of wood trim, plywood, hardboard, OSB, foam board, countertops and similar materials.

For Best Results:

• Do not use for bonding of two non-porous surfaces. Do not use on cement board (Durock®). Not recommended for underwater applications or permanent water immersion. Not recommended for applications requiring temperature resistance greater than 170°F (77°C). Exterior applications where rain is expected within 24 hours. Use on mirrors and metals that will corrode. Bonding polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)/Teflon® or nylon. Adhesive needs to be fully cured prior to applying joint compound and finishing the wall board. Jobsite conditions should be maintained at or above 55°F (13°C) to minimize the effect of temperature, humidity, ventilation, and free moisture throughout the installation and finishing process.
