How To Set Up
- Remove the plastic netting around the suetball before you put it in the feeder, so that birds can eat it easily. Clean food 1 time per 2 weeks the feeder and move it regularly to another location in your garden to prevent diseases. Leave no traces of cleaning behind. Hang the feeder at a height of about 2 meters (6.6 UK feet) at a location where cats and other predators can't reach it. Preferably near a (evergreen) tree where birds can hide or flee excellent. Paste bird stickers on your windows to prevent flying birds bump against your window. Hang the feeder house at least 3 meters (9.8 UK feet) away from bird houses, as birds have a nest territory. Fill the feeder early in the morning and possibly again in the afternoon, but avoid excess food so that no mice or other pests will eat overnight from the feed. DO NOT feed the birds with the following kind of food because it is harmful to their health: food with salt, milk, roasted peanuts, liquid oil and margarine. Have fun watching the birds eat!
