The wide-mouth bottle makes for easy filling and the Hollyhock feeder fully disassembles for easy cleaning. The specially designed base is leak resistant. The feeder includes a black polyester coated S-hook for hanging. During the hot summer days, be sure to clean your feeder and change the nectar every couple days to avoid molding. Its easy to make your own nectar at home, see your recommended recipe: - 1 part white table sugar (not honey or artificial sweetner) - 4 parts water Combine and boil for 1 minute to dissolve sugar. Allow mixture to cool, fill your clean feeder. Extra solution can be stored in the refrigerator.
